The origin of the Emerald Tablet is steeped in legends. One of the first recorded records of the tablet comes from 11th Century Theologian Albertus Magnus, who reported that Alexander that Great found the tablet in the Egyptian tomb of the philosopher Hermes Trismegistus.

That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, in accomplishment of the Miracle of One Thing.
